Bound in the publisher's original blue cloth, with gilt lettering to the spine and the publisher's device gilt-stamped on the front board. Tops of the leaves are gilt, fore-edges and bottoms are untrimmed. Illustrated throughout with black-and-white plates, as well as with a two-page map.

  Little wear or bumped corners, hinges are strong, text is clean and tight throughout. A solid copy of the author's account of his prospecting years (beginning in 1898) in the vicinity of Dawson City, "which suddenly sprouted, flourished, and declined with the fortunes of the Klondike gold field."
