When the mercury is hovering around 100 throughout the East, it seem well nigh incredible that in Colorado, from almost any standing place, it is only a few moments journey to the land of snow. In the early Spring months a journey on the Cog Road to Pike's Peak is almost sure to be made through banks of the purest snow.
