Wilson Bigaud is considered one of the Haitian Masters. At the age of 22 he painted the 528 square foot,"Miracle at Cana," in less then six weeks! Sheldon Rodman asked Bigaud whether he believed in the divinity of Christ. "They say he is divine," he answered. "Who knows? I believe in him. The priests of vandou perform miracles too; I've seen them: but that's diabolic. Christ's miracles were to teach lessons, not to arouse fear. Yes, I still go to vaudou ceremonies-more often than to church, because the ceremonies are more interesting and intimate and certainly more colorful-but I don't belived in loss anymore."
